Tear …

Well I didn’t get the freelance columnist job I applied for, which is okay considering how much I have on my plate right now. I mean I have work, school, and that oh-so-busy social life. But it would have been cool to write a weekly column.

On that note I guess it’s important to say that I am in the beginning stages of starting my own website. I want to have a place where employers can go and look at my writing samples. I’m also thinking of launching a Zine but I need to talk to my friend Kari who publishes such things and who I’ve written for in the past. I think it would be fun to launch my own site that I could post articles and stuff on and be my very own editor-in-chef. Because you know that part when I said I had an oh-so-busy social life? Well that was a fib and I need projects…

I have one more week before I head to Vegas for the family vacation. My friend Aimee is coming for three out of the six days so I know I’m about to have a wildly fun time. I figured out how to post blogs with pictures so I’ll make sure to keep a travel journal with proof of the debauchery. It’ll be innocent proof of course, because I don’t want everyone knowing all my dirty little secrets.
