I think I’m going to take up screenwriting because apparently it’s not hard. Especially if you pay just a little bit of attention to what’s coming out lately. I mean the movie Doom or Dome or whatever it’s called is just part Resident Evil, minus the zombies, mixed with a pinch of Mad Max - Beyond The Thunderdome. But instead of two men enter, one man leaves - it’s just a hot chic and a kick ass car.
Then take the movie What’s Its Name (okay I can’t remember the name) but it’s the movie about the new kid and he like a popular girl and he gets into a fight with the hot-headed guy and then an ethnic trainer steps in and teaches him the ropes of fighting. I know what you’re thinking “Oh Karate Kid!” but no you’d be wrong.
So I think I’m going to write a “new” movie. It’s going to be like Bedknobs & Broomsticks with a smidge of the Terminator love story, spic it up with a little Tank drama and then complete with a subtitles from the foreign movie City of Lost Children. It’s a classic in the making.
