This salad is a little crunchy for my taste

Aimee and I went to see Stop Loss tonight and I’ll get to that in just a minute. First we stopped off at, let’s call it Pasta World, to have the famous soup and salad combo, ‘cause the salad there is hella good. So we’re chatting away and eating and I go to stab a piece of lettuce with my fork and it won’t stab because – it’s a chunk of the plate. Yep my salad was extra crunchy. So I tell Aimee to stop eating her salad, we call over the waitress and show her the glass and ask for new salad plates and salad. I was super nice because I know that it wasn’t there on purpose.

Then the manager comes over and I’m thinking “oh shit I hope he doesn’t think that I put that there,” I mean it is clearly a chunk of one of their plates. But no he came to apologize and comp our meal, which was cool. Then as we’re getting ready to leaving another waitress drops her tray and plates break by the couple behind us. So the manager goes and comps that table too – and then the guy who’s getting comped goes, “oh yeah well we want this and this too (I couldn’t see what he was pointing to in the menu).” I died, I mean I felt bad about getting my dinner comped and I almost ate glass, they had some plates break by them and they want the whole left side of the menu – wow, way to be classy.

Okay the movie… It was good, not excellent, not "omg I plan to watch it over and over again," but I didn't feel like I wasted my money. A few things to note, I'm pretty sure they messed up the uniforms switching what is worn here and what is worn in battle. The accents were not Teaxan, if fact the female lead sounding like she was straigh from the Carolinas or maybe Virgina. I did see a preview of two upcoming films I MUST see. One was The Son of Rambow and the other, shoot I can't remember it's name, but it's by the director of Blood Diamond. So I will no doubt cry through it. I was a sobbing mess during Blood Diamond and I don’t think this film is going to be any different.
