The Speed limits here are ridiculous, especially on this one narrow winding road. I swear we caught air at one point. We spent most of the day drive from here to there but we did see some great Castles. Ashford Castle is now a 5 Star Hotel with its own Helicopter pad. We couldn’t go in but we got some great shots from the grounds. It was our first part of the day. Then we headed to Cong where we saw a burnt down Abbey and some of the places that “The Quiet Man” was filmed in.
I have 93 pictures so far... Uploads to come. It's raining so we're killing some time in an Internet Cafe. Oh modern times.
