The roller coaster ride continues

Nothing says “back from vacation” more than being totally thrown back into your work as if you never left. Wait I take that back, I can tell I left because my work seems to have triple in my absence. Thankfully I have a week off of school before I dive back into homework. For some reason I thought it would be really smart to take two classes at a time. I did this so that I can keep on track, but also take a needed six week break during the holidays. This way I can enjoy those pesky holidays without worrying about final papers and study discussions. Yet since I’ll be in Florence during week four of this “doubled up” term I’ve just made a whole lot of work for myself during the month of October. That and the odd fact that my social calendar (thanks to my Halloween loving friends) for the month is already brimming over with activities should make this month just fly by.

Oh and recently I was honored with the request to write the poem for my friends wedding invitation, which has thrown me into a writers block like no other. My brother just asked that I present something to my friend that was not as depressing as my last published piece. Nice, huh?

Sometimes I feel like I’m barely treading water.
