Going to my parent’s house there is this one spot that I love. I'm driving along and then I crest over this hill right before I reach the marina and there on my right it is - this beautiful scenic shot of the bay and mountains.
I’ve loved this spot for over 14 years now, and never, ever when I go past it do I not pause. Its one of those moments that clears my mind and makes me think about how great it is to be alive. It provides this amazing point of clarity to me right before my brain is re-flooded with all the bullshit that is my life.
One day I’ll take a picture of this view, but I know that I’ll never capture its true beauty or it's meaning to me. So putting all my bullshit aside, and all my joking that today is actually Gluttony Day and that we’re all breaking a deadly sin … Let me say that I’m thankful for my friends and family and their unconditional love and support.
