I am still on Italian Time

I'm going to start with the end and work my way back. Travel home was supposed to be a breeze we only had one connection and then a straight shot to Seattle from Paris. It was suppose to be easy, easy, easy - yeah not so much. The radar in Paris went down and so we were on our plane for two hours in Florence before it even was allowed to take off, needless to say that when we got to Paris, which BTW I HATE that airport, we had missed our flight by a lot!

The big flight to Paris was an adventure. We had this lady behind us who was something else. She was talking and drinking and talking. Then a lady next to her got sick so they had to ask talky to move so the lady could lie down. Talky then sat next to me, which I offered so she would get out of the isle and stop complaining that the lady was taking her seat. So instead of seating down and watching her TV she started talking to me - while I was wearing my headphones clearly watching a movie. Then she had two more beers and then told the flight attendants that they had to move the lady because she paid for that seat. Let's make this clear - There were tons of empty seats, seats in better spots and she could have taken all of them. SO they moved the lady, who was on oxygen!!! To another of seats and so talky was back. She then left during the last meal service to go sit in the empty seat next to her mom… OMG I was dying I have never seen a display such as that!!! She is getting a special spot in hell that’s for sure.

We then ended up having to take a flight to Chicago then to Seattle. The Chicago flight was delayed by about an hour and so that put us there with only an hour to catch our flight to Seattle and then there was customs, and then there was security for which Christine and I were tagged with for extra security. We made the flight by the skin of our teeth, seriously we sat down and it was buckle up and go.

Of course when we got to Seattle both of us had been up for 26 hours straight, and of course our luggage had not made the flight with us. When we finally got home I crashed and then at 2 am my phone rang because the airline was here to deliver my suitcase, did I tell you it was 2 am?
