I need to debate with someone and not about stupid crap like whats-her-face and her kids. I don’t want to talk about how stupid you think an old friend of mine is, or how you got a new blouse for only $10 (which is cool but come one). I want to talk about smart things, things that make people really stop and think. I want to have grown up discussions where we can debate and argue about key issues this world is facing.
I want to have a stimulating conversation, one that doesn’t include the words dude or awesome in it. Conversations about politics, the possible recession, the fact that gas is up to almost $4 a gallon and no one seems to notice. The polar ice caps… Business ethics, bio-fuel, anything that will make my mind actually think.
I’m so tired of the superficial. I feel like I haven’t had a decent conversation in at least seven or eight months.
